A great little TV August 18, 2010 S. Hunter (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just purchased the Eviant T7 and am very happy with it. Setup was easy - I basically just plugged in the AC adapter, and turned it on. Based on other reviews, I first removed the attached antenna and replaced it with the external antenna that came with the TV. Several reviews had mentioned getting better results with the Scan mode that way. I ended up pulling in over 50 channels!
The picture is clear and sharp. The audio isn't the best, but it's very adequate. I didn't expect crystal clear clarity with such a small form factor.
This is a great little TV for the price and size. I have it at work, so I can watch news, etc. when/if a disaster strikes. This was very handy with the TV I had during the 9/11 crisis. Of course, that TV doesn't work anymore, since it's analog, so I went looking for a replacement. This is definitly a good buy.
Don't Buy August 15, 2010 sharon schillace Bought this tv through ebay brand new.... was very very excited to get it I tried every room in my home encluding the front yard and back yard could not pick up even one channel very very disappointed in product. Had to return it and lose my shipping fee's both ways
Doesn't work July 26, 2010 Deanie N. (Tennessee) I purchased this so I could watch TV while getting ready for work in my bathroom. Out of the box, it autoscanned and said it got one channel -- some weird channel I never heard of and it kept fading in and out. So I moved it and it scanned again and said it got two channels. But they were both hopelessly scrambled. Moved it again and it said it got 7 channels. Only two came in and they were also scrambled. On a whim, I disconnected the AC power cord so it could run on the battery only and it came in great -- well, the two whole channels it picked up.
Since I really want to plug my TV in and this one won't work with the power cord provided it's going right back to the store. Major disappointment.
WORST AMAZON PURCHASE EVER MADE July 24, 2010 Michael J. Bielicki (PHOENIX, ARIZONA United States) Cannot get reception for tv signals no matter where I have taken it Stop do not purchase
Neat little package June 24, 2010 R. Williams (Kingsville, Texas USA) The first one of these worked great until it was fried by a lightning strike on our home. So, we bought the same model again. It was easy to setup and operate. Picture is great. Have not tried using the battery, so I cannot judge how adequate it is. Great buy for me.
